Through its own production plants or through third party vendors and partners, Yara North America offers urea, ammonium nitrate, UAN solution, ammonium sulfate and anhydrous ammonia in USA and Canada, helped by a well positioned net of terminals and logistical infra-structure.

Main ag customers are retail and wholesale distributors, including the North American Cooperative system, with products applied primarily on corn, wheat, rice, cotton and pasture land. Our industrial customers use urea for feed production, resin production and emission controls at power plants.

- Slow Release Nitrogen Fertilizers

Slow-release fertilizers are excellent alternatives to soluble fertilizers. Because nutrients are released at a slower rate throughout the season, plants are able to take up most of the nutrients without waste by leaching.

Nitroform Methylene Urea 38-0-0

Nitroform® is a methylene-urea-based slow-release nitrogen fertilizer containing 38% N. Some nitrogen is immediately plant-available, the balance is gradually released by soil microbes, lasting up to 12 months. Nitroform® is primarily used for golf courses, professional lawn care, sports fields, nurseries and specialty agricultural crops.
