Field Applied

Field applied fertilizers can be liquid or dry and generally contain N, P₂O₅ and K₂O in the guaranteed analysis.  Blends are usually applied to meet the crop needs based on the soil test results.  Dry or Liquid N or N/K₂O fertilizers are then provided as a side dress application to optimize crop nutrient uptake and efficiency. 

Most importantly however, is the crop to be grown.  Fruit and vegetable crops prefer Nitrate Nitrogen whereas grass crops, such as corn or wheat, prefer a significant quantity of Ammonium Nitrogen.  Whatever crop you choose to grow, Yara has the perfect fertilizer package to meet your needs.
