Choosing your nitrogen source is a critical decision. Choosing YaraLiva™ products as a sidedresser for tobacco gives the grower five major advantages over other fertilizers:

With adequate soil moisture infiltration, nitrate nitrogen from sidedressed YaraLiva™ Tropicote™  or CN-9® is immediately available for root uptake. There is no "lag time" necessary for ammonium conversion to nitrate. Also, with YaraLiva™ as a sidedresser, there is no residual nitrogen carryover to delay crop maturity and reduce leaf quality. When ammonium fertilizers are applied, timing control is lost, yields decrease, and leaf quality suffers.
