The JSC Minudobreniya Rossosh plant is located approximately 1,000 kilometers south of Moscow, close to the Ukrainian border in the Voronezh region.
Yara acquired a 30 percent ownership stake in this independent enterprise in 2005.
The NPK-plants are based on nitrophosphate technology licensed from Yara in the early 1980s. NPK- production started in 1983/1984.
During 2006-2007 the NPK plants were upgraded in cooperation with Yara.
Half of the ammonia is upgraded to NPK and AN.
